Aquarium is composed of a combination of hand blown, machine rolled and dichroic glass with found glass objects. The Deco style of the window evolved during the harvesting of the found glass objects used for the fish from serving plates, vases and pressed glass bowls that were flattened in the kiln. The assembly of the window is in the traditional leaded manor and included custom constructed leads to accommodate non-traditional objects. The Fish is inspired by and built around the eyepiece of the fish. The pressed glass ashtray was cut and polished to serve as a focal point of the window. Very Red Snapper was inspired by and is composed entirely of kitchen glassware. Wine glass and bottle bottoms, serving plates, food storage containers, percolator tops, glass bowls and a cookie jar were cannibalized for their unique patterns to enhance the design.
