There is a huge responsibility in restoring any work of art. It starts with the greatest respect for the original stained glass, the artist and the history of the piece. The weight of history motivates us to do our best work: the most faithful restorations possible.
Over the past 15 years, the Daniel Maher Stained Glass Studio has been privileged to restore some of the most important architectural stained glass in the country, including works by John LaFarge and Louis Comfort Tiffany.

A restoration project by the Daniel Maher Stained Glass Studio is not an attempt to turn back time. Rather, we've built a national reputation by honoring the character of the window while restoring structural integrity. Therefore, a restored window should not look "new" — it should retain all the flavor and history of a significant work of art.
